EVO Dashboard and widgets

When you log in to EVO, the dashboard is the first thing you see. It's designed to give you an immediate overview of your meters, acting as your personal control panel. This guide shows you how to use the dashboard's basic functions and how to customize it with widgets to create a tailored view that suits your specific needs.

Default View: An overview of all your meters

The dashboard consists of several fixed parts that give you an immediate status update:

  • The left-hand menu:
    • Meters: Here you will find all your meters. You can also view and access your saved selections, which function as customized filter views.
    • Report: Here you can analyze and export your meter data. To learn more, see our complete guide on Analyzing and Exporting Data with Reports.
  • Search bar: Use the "Find meters" search box at the top to quickly search for one or more meters, no matter where you are in EVO. You can search by site, meter ID, city, address, manufacturer, and medium.
  • The map view: See your meters placed on a map. Green markers indicate that the meter is "OK," while red markers or rings signal an alarm or error. If a red ring appears on a group, you can click it to zoom in on the individual meters.
  • The collection box: This box shows your total collection percentage for all your meters.

Customize your Dashboard with widgets

Widgets are customizable panels that give you quick access to relevant data. They are directly linked to your selections, making them a powerful tool for visualizing specific groups of meters.

By using selections, you can create widgets to monitor meters based on city, error reporting, alarms, or even specific limit values. If you haven't already created a selection, you can read our guide on how to create and manage selections.

How to add, edit, and move widgets:

  1. Add a widget: Click ADD NEW WIDGET in the top-right corner of the dashboard to add a new widget. Besides the standard widgets like the map and collection percentage, you can choose to display one of your saved selections as a new widget.
  2. Edit a widget: Use the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the widget to edit settings or change which selection it is based on.
  3. Move widgets: Use the drag-and-drop function to move your widgets around and organize your dashboard exactly how you want it.
  4. Delete widgets: The dashboard is flexible, and you can easily delete a widget by clicking the three dots (⋮) and selecting "Delete." You can always add it back later if you change your mind.

Special widget types

  • Selection based on thresholds: A highly useful widget based on a threshold selection. It only displays the number of meters that meet the thresholds you've set, making it easy to proactively monitor issues like high energy consumption or abnormal return temperatures. For more information on how to create such a selection, see Create and use thresholds to find deviations.
