Analyze and Export Data with Reports
The report view gives you the opportunity to analyze, visualize, and export your meter data in detail. It is a powerful tool for diving deeper into data than what the dashboard shows.
Add meters to the report
To start analyzing, you need to add one or more meters to the report view. There are two ways to do this from the meter list:
- Single meter: Use the action button (the three dots) next to a specific meter in the list and select "Add to report."
- Entire list: Use the action button in the top right corner of the meter list to add all meters on the current page to the report. Note that there is a limit of 500 meters.
View average value for a selection
You can quickly see the average value for the meters in a saved selection by:
- Clicking the three dots next to the selection's name.
- Selecting "Show average in report".
- Navigating to Report to see the value in a graph and/or list. Since your selection may have multiple units, you can choose which unit you want to view once you are on the report page.
Use the report view for analysis
Once you are in the report view, you have several functions to customize your analysis:
- Period and resolution: You can choose the time period and resolution you want to view. You can also compare data with a previous period to spot trends.
-
Graph and list view: You can switch between a graphical view to see visual patterns and a table view to see exact values. Note that the graph view can display up to two y-axes, which is useful for comparing different data types like energy and power.
-
Select data to display: Use the built-in legend to easily select which units or what type of measurements you want to show in the graph or list.
- Export data: You can export all your data to a csv-file for further analysis in other tools.
Export limitations
Please note that there are limitations on how much data can be exported to a CSV file:
- 0-50 meters: A maximum of 12 months of meter data. If the period is longer than one month, only daily and monthly values are exported.
- 51-500 meters: A maximum of 1 month of meter data. Only daily and monthly values.
- 500+ meters: Export is not allowed.
- The default delimiter in export files is the semicolon (;). You can change this setting in your User Profile. For more information, please see the FAQ Edit your User Profile.
