Create account

A prerequisite for installing devices using Elvaco Play is to have both an account and be a part of an organisation in Elvaco Play. To create an account in Elvaco Play, start by entering your email address on the Elvaco Play Portal and submitting the request.

After registration, a confirmation email will be sent to the specified email address. Open the email and click Confirm Account to verify your email address and activate the account. Please note that the confirmation link is valid for 24 hours. Accept the invitation and complete the registration by entering your:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Password (minimum 15 characters)

Once the registration is complete, you can log in to Elvaco Play using your account credentials.

To simplify device installation and management, download Elvaco Play App on Google Play or App Store. Use the same Elvaco Play account credentials to log in to the mobile app.

Organisation

When you log in to Elvaco Play for the first time, you must be connected to an organization to access meter data and platform features. There are three ways to join an organization:

  1. Accept an invitation: If you have received an invitation email, create your account using the same email address that the invitation was sent to, or click the link provided in the invitation email.

  2. Request an invitation: If you have not received an invitation, contact an existing member of the organization and ask them to invite you.

  3. Create a new organization: If your organization has not yet been created in Elvaco Play and you are responsible for managing the account, you can create a new organization.

To create an organization, open the Create organization window and enter the required information:

  • Organization name

  • VAT number (optional)

  • Street address

  • ZIP code

  • Town

  • Country

After completing the form, click Create to save the organization or Cancel to close the window without saving. To add member into your organisation go to Members for more information.

Delete Account

There are two ways to delete your user account: either by using the self-service deletion function in the app or the portal, or by contacting our support team via email.

Deleting Your Account Yourself

You can delete your account using the dedicated delete function available in either the mobile app or the web portal.

Important Considerations Before Deletion

Before deleting your account, you must be aware of the following:

  • Data and Access: All metering data will remain stored in the system, but your access will be removed. Access can only be regained by receiving a new invitation.

  • Organizations: All your personal data will be erased. You will be removed from all associated organizations.

  • Dependencies: There might be some dependencies you need to take care of before you are allowed to delete your account.

    • If you are the last person in an organization or the only owner of an organization.

    • You will then need to take action and delete the organization and/or assign a new owner before you are allowed to delete your account.

  • Save Your Data: Before deleting your account, you can download all your personal data.

Steps in the Mobile App
  1. When on the landing page (Dashboard), press More in the bottom menu.

  2. Press User Profile.

  3. In your user profile, you will find Delete Account.

  4. Make sure that you read all the information before deleting your account. Click the checkbox to confirm the action is permanent.

  5. Press delete to confirm the deletion.

Steps in the Web Portal
  1. Press the account avatar (your initials) at the top of the page.

  2. In the drop-down menu, press View account.

  3. Under the "Manage account" section, press Delete my account.

  4. Review the information provided in the pop-up window. Click the checkbox for "I understand that deleting my account is permanent and cannot be undone".

  5. Press Delete to confirm this irreversible action.
